Fees

TUITION FEES:
St Joseph's Primary School offers a comprehensive education at a reasonable cost. Government funding does not cover the full educational cost, therefore fees and fundraising are a necessary part of funding Catholic schools. All fees, levies, leases and excursion costs at St Joseph's are compulsory. School fees can be paid weekly, fortnightly, monthly or each term.

School Uniform

UNIFORM

St. Joseph's School will be recognised, in part; by the way we present ourselves in the community. This includes the way the uniform is worn and the grooming of our students.
The uniform can be purchased from the Uniform Shop. Any items that need to be ordered, particularly, the girls summer and winter uniform, need to be ordered on or before the first Transition Day.

Enrolment Procedure

1. School Tours, Morning Tea and an Information Session presented by the Prinicipal

Parents are invited to attend our school tours of St. Joseph's Primary School. This is a chance for parents to see what our school has to offer and ask any questions they have.

2. Prep teachers visit the kindergatens to say Hello
Prep staff visit the kindregartens in term 3 each year to read stories, sing songs and talk to the children about St. Joseph's and starting school.

3. A School Experience
Parents/Carers and children are invited along to St. Joseph's school to spend an hour or two in the prep classroom for a 'School experience'. This involves participating in one of many activities such as:

• Class Prayer

• School Assembly

• Physical Education or Music lesson

• Literacy Centre Activities

• Numeracy Centre Activities

4. Enrolment Interviews
Each family and their child will have an interview with the Principal to discuss the needs of the child and some of the significant aspects of the school. A personalised tour of the school is included. Enrolment forms are to be submitted at this stage.

5. Acceptance of Enrolment
After each interview, a letter is sent home informing parents/carers of the schools acceptance or non-acceptance of their child's enrolment.

6. Transition Days
Transition days are held over three Fridays in November, for children who are enrolled in Foundation for the following year. This is an opportunity for your child to again experience school life at different times of the day. Parents are notified of the dates and times closer to the event.
